Ricardo Hubler joined the Global Commerce group of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development Division as the director of international trade.

Mr. Hubler is responsible for helping Atlanta companies to expand into international markets, focusing on small- and medium-sized enterprises.

He works to globally brand the Metro Atlanta region as an international business center through marketing campaigns, trade and educational missions and relationship-building with bi-national partners in the Atlanta area.

Previously, Mr. Hubler worked in Home Depot Inc.’s Internal Audit Leadership Program and led business process improvement projects for merchandising and marketing, human resources, information technology, finance and store operations in the United States and Mexico. He also worked in business development and brand protection for the company’s services division.

Mr. Hubler was a member of the inaugural class of Georgia State University’s Global Partners MBA program and holds a Masters of International Management from the Université de Paris, Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Certificate from COPPEAD Graduate School of Business of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
