Memphis, Tenn.-based immigration law firm Siskind Susser has named a new head of immigration litigation at its Atlanta office.

Leslie Diaz will defend clients facing deportation and will handle federal and appellate cases.

Before specializing in representing clients in cases against the U.S. government, Ms. Diaz worked as a staff attorney for the Eleventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. She also has experience in criminal and commercial litigation.

“We are very excited to have Leslie join our firm,” said Karen Weinstock, the firm’s managing attorney in Atlanta. “We are always looking for top attorneys to join our team and Leslie clearly is an excellent fit for us.”
