John Nabinger, a certified business counselor (CBC) who is seeking foreign national buyers to acquire Georgia-based companies, will present a program on company valuations at the World Trade Center downtown on Thursday, March 25, starting at 7:30 a.m.

Mr. Nabinger is a founding officer of Business Partners Inc., which provides a variety of services including company valuations and small business sales and mergers and acquisitions services.

“I don’t know of any other firm in Atlanta which offers our services in the way that we do and wants to focus on the international business community here,” he told GlobalFax in a telephone interview last week. 

His presentation, he added, would include advice on how to strengthen a company’s valuation and provide an overview of factors affecting that value.

He also said that he is actively seeking foreign national buyers for domestic companies and has aligned himself with immigration attorneys to assist overseas buyers obtain visas for entering the U.S.

Mr. Nabinger is the exclusive independent field representative  in Georgia for Dickinson, Texas-based Business Evaluation Systems, a national valuation firm that has had extensive international experience including appraising the oil industries in Argentina and Mexico.

His CBC designation is issued by the Institute of Certified Business Counselors, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the professionalism of individuals and firms involved in counseling, valuation, acquisition, sale or transfer of privately-owned or closely-held companies.
