Georgia Interethnic Coalition is hosting a program to gain insight into the culture, history and traditions of Atlanta’s Korean community, which is one the largest and fastest growing ethnic communities in Georgia, on Thursday, Oct. 21, from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Korean Community Presbyterian Church in Duluth.

The program includes an authentic Korean dinner and presents an opportunity to meet many civic, business and religious leaders in Atlanta’s Korean community, said Steve Choi, present of the Asian-American Coalition and a steering member of GIC.

“Promoting inter-community cooperation is essential in developing partnerships among Atlanta’s diverse ethnic communities,” he said in an announcement of the event.

There is no charge for the event, including food. To RSVP for the dinner, call (404) 233-5501.
