Roswell-based business software developer Bitam Inc. announced a new managing director for its operations in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Antonio Rajan is being promoted to the post from his current position as manager of U.S. North-East sales.  He has previously held positions in the U.S. and Europe for companies including online database LexisNexis and software developer TopSpeed Corp.

Mr. Rajan received a degree from the University of London and is fluent in four languages.  David Abdo, Bitam’s CEO, said his international experience makes him a fit for his new role.

“Antonio has been instrumental in creating the U.S. strategy thus far.  With his commitment and deep experience in global sales, he is ideally situated to lead our efforts in the U.S. and (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) markets,” he said.

Bitam specializes in enterprise performance management software, which helps companies monitor finances, planning and business intelligence.  The company has two offices in the U.S. and others in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Spain.

Its customers include a number of international companies, government organizations and universities.
