The U.S. Transportation Security Administration on July 25 will open its second Atlanta airport location to screen passengers for a program that allows frequent travelers easier passage through security lines.

The first TSA Pre-Check office opened in January near gate A19 beyond the security checkpoints making it open only to customers who already have a boarding pass.

Situated next to the Delta Air Lines ticket counters, the new location at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s Terminal South will be accessible to the general public.

The office will allow pre-enrolled customers to complete the in-person portion of their registration, which requires verification of identity and citizenship, as well as fingerprinting.

The program allows prescreened passengers to enter a special line, keeping their shoes, jackets and belts on and their laptops and liquids in their bags.
