Decoding the World of Esports

With over $1 billion in revenue in 2019 and with an audience expected to grow to almost 500 million people globally, Esports is here to stay and its future is bright. As the number 1 city for gaming environment and number 5 city for gamers, Atlanta is positioned as a global Esports hub. There are three Esports franchises in the city, the Atlanta Reign, Hawks Talon, and the Atlanta FaZe. In addition, the Atlanta region is home to over 150 gaming studios, with two of the biggest companies in Esports, Hi-Rez Studios and Blue Mammoth, calling Atlanta home.
