Emily Haber, Germany’s first female Ambassador to the United States, will discuss the status of US-German relations, including recent developments.
Under the rotating German presidency, the European Union is experiencing a “Hamilton moment” with the EU gaining a one-off authority to raise money on financial markets in order to steer the economic recovery. There’s a great deal to discuss with German Chancellor Merkel stronger than ever and the German economy emerging quickly from the COVID recession. Join us for a wide ranging conversation on Germany, China, Russia, Europe, the US, and the world economy.
