Georgia’s trade offices around the world have relayed March inquiries, with buyers from South America and Asia seeking products in agribusiness and food processing and packaging.

In China, buyers have asked about hardwood pulp and chicken paws, the industry term for chicken feet. Georgia, one of the nation’s largest poultry producers, has been a perennial exporter of the commodity, which is not typically eaten in the U.S.

In Chile, buyers asked for lager beer cans and bottles.

In Japan, the state’s Tokyo office heard from a buyer in search of a supplier of onion puree and paste for bulk manufacturers.

The leads were shared in the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s monthly trade newsletter. See the full newsletter here

Companies interested in exporting these products should contact Acaria Francis at afrancis@georgia.org for more information.
