Partnership Gwinnett’s annual celebration of manufacturers and logistics providers doled out honors to a variety of companies, including a few foreign-owned subsidiaries employing hundreds in a county that counts more than 600 such investors.

The Movers and Makers awards customarily feature foreign investors alongside locally grown and family-owned companies, and this year was no different.

Local firms with significant export operations, including AdEdge Technologies (medium manufacturer, 40-99 employees), were also among the winners.

Canada’s Price Industries, which counts about 1,200 employees across two factories making HVAC equipment and controls in Gwinnett, took home the Large Manufacturer of the Year award.

Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US, a joint venture between the Japanese company and the American air-conditioning provider that makes refrigerant flow systems, won the corporate citizenship award. The company previously won the supply chain pioneer award at the 2019 event.

The 12th annual breakfast, held May 4, included a keynote speech by UPS Healthcare President John J. Bolla.
